From its inception, ARC has been operated by a small group of stipend volunteers who live on-site in intentional community and offer the gift of hospitality to guests.
Life at ARC offers an extraordinary opportunity for those with a passion for community living, environmental stewardship, spiritual growth, hospitality, and service.

We welcome community members who resonate with the ARC values, want to grow spiritually, have heart for service, maturity for living in community, endurance for full days, and want to try a different way of life!

We accept applications on an ongoing basis and you can sign up to be notified as positions become available. 

Becoming a community member includes: room (private room with a private or shared bathroom), board (from scratch, vegetarian meals), and a stipend (which varies based on the position and length of commitment) are provided. Benefits include up to five weeks of time off (annually), with public assistance health coverage available through MNSure.

  • Land and Facilities Manager
  • Land and Facilities Assistant (currently available) 
  • Kitchen Manager (currently available)
  • Housekeeping Manager (available in September)
  • Guest and Volunteer Services Coordinator
  • Short-term Community Member (varied; 3-11 month commitment)

A US work permit or equivalent permissions to work in the United States is required for all positions. At present we cannot accept international applicants for any positions.
